now let’s look at the comments below this video:

I come from France where police brutality is also an issue, particularly with visible minority BUT I never thought that Canada, particularly Alberta and ..to aoke extent Quebec has real issues with that.

I remember in 2002, I had this girl who studied with me In a university in Paris. She dated a blck guy who was willing to aucced and make a difference. one night he got brutlozed by some french cops and came back home injured. Despite evident proofs, they never managed to have them arrested (was it proof or a racist judge???)

he lived with the traima for many months and after 6-8 monyhs, while wandering in town with his girlfriend (who was that hirl at the same university as myself), they noth stumbled onto the 2 officers who were having lunch at the restaurant. The boyfriend wanted to confront them but her french girlfriend retained him while

saying she jad a better idea!

so … remember when I said they had NO proof? well they still had none!

now, you know what they did?

they just walked away and let those 2 officers finish their lunch….

they went back home and the french GF drafter a resume and faked some work experience that she had worked for some restaurants before (including a restaurant that her fathers friend who owned and could be used as reference, at least for one of the experiences mentioned on the resume).

one day, she came by the restaurant and using her charm, know how to speak and half-fake resume, she managed to get the job as a ….waitress.

I don’t think I need to tell you more….

…

but despite our issues in France, we have an organ thatvis called rhe GIGN which oversee police conduct and which in aome

cases, penalize police officers who

are being found guilty of abuses or offenses.

like in this case where a black teenager was bictim of an abuse

another case where 6 french police officers were arrested for RACIST abuse

In places like Alberta and quebec… those happenings are not common…. or am I skipping something!

and now let’s look ay Quebec, another place that claoms to be welcoming (compared tonus French) buy seems to be struggling also by being an hypocritical place to live:

even in France with pit VERY HEAVY COLONIAL PAST, ot seems like oir justice system is a bit fairer and seems to be NOT that HORRIBLE at the end, although we still need lots of improvement too! canada seems to be needing more of it we French so!

also, as for you Caandians, it is time you stop pointing your fingers at your southern neighbors for all the flaws you are doing! it is always the American cop thatis brutal,  racist and violent… but with everything I read above, I truly see yhat Canada has still am long wau to go!

Canada and Canadians, may be don’t be astonished to see

that the BEST immigrants do not want to stay in tour country!! how many immigrants have I seen or known ainxe I moved here… most if them stayed afor a while, applied for PR or citizenship for some, and then one day, decided to LEAVE Canada for ….. France!!! or Spain for some!

an african former colleague of mine told me blatantly once: “I’d rather go to the country of the MEAN COLONILIST (France) and knowing that many cops and HR managers are racists than staying in the fakely welcoming country where brutality would not even be punished”. at least in France, and with tou French people (he told ne that starlight in my eyes), I know that you have done horrible things in Africa! at least it is known to the world!

now

what can I say? he was right!

so in case something happened to tou, my advice, het a LAWYER involved!!

here is one:https://www.edsonlegal.com/police-brutality-lawyers-toronto/

or this one

https://www.ahbl.ca/industry/police-law-liability/

if you are in Alberta (probably this one is very much needed), find:

https://prisonpolicelaw.ca/

If you are a victim of police violence in Ontario, you should contact either

the Law Enforcement Complaints Agency (LECA) or the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), depending on the severity of the incident.

if you are in FRANCE, you can reach out to:

SOS RACISME,

Défenseur des droits, Libre réponse 71120, 75342 Paris CEDEX 07.

Meeting a local delegate in person.

  • The Public Prosecutor: You can file a formal complaint (plainte) directly with the public prosecutor by sending a registered letter or going to the courthouse of the place where the offense was committed. This initiates the judicial process.
  • Internal Affairs (IGPN/IGGN): You can also report misconduct to the internal inspection body responsible for the officers involved:
  • IGPN (Inspection Générale de la Police Nationale): for the National Police.
  • IGGN (Inspection Générale de la Gendarmerie Nationale): for the National Gendarmerie. Reports to these bodies do not constitute a formal legal complaint but initiate an internal investigation.

WHAT SHOULD ENFORCEMENT DO and HOW can it be more efficient?

FRENCH PERSPECTIVE- (White) POLICING in the US (and even in Canada, particularly in Alberta and Quebec) involves investing too much time and energy running after minority groups, especially blacks!!! BUT I think that IF the police and those implementing the policies were smart, they would invest resources into:

1. the thousands of unsolved cases of murders, rapes and so on

2. Invest resources onto those sick morons who are molesters and child predators!!

But no, many police departments in the US, Canada (and France too) are run by white incompetents (and indeed, I am a Frenchman, sorry to deceive) sitting their white asses into their white chairs eating white chips all day, then going back home seeing their white kids smoking white drugs sold By Mexican cartels!

Our white kids are just so entitled and are raised in ways that make them feel so!

then, when disaster strikes, they are the ones least likely to stand against the wind, therefore they are more likely to catch depression than coloured kids.

whether or not that pleases us, it is the truth!

Trust me, we are the ones queuing for

antidepressants because we are incapable of making ourselves happy… and may be, we deserve it!

Have tou ever noticed how insensitive and how COLD, how abusive many WHITE parents raise their kids?
